Ice Cold Privacy — We Take Almost Nothing

Penguin Slide is a game about a penguin catching fish on an Arctic ice sheet. Privacy-wise, we are as minimal as the Antarctic diet: we take only what is strictly necessary. Your high score is written to localStorage under the key peng_best. This is stored on your device, invisible to our servers, and cleared only by you.

Server Logs and External Requests

Loading the Game sends one HTTP request to our server, which logs your IP address, browser user-agent, timestamp, and URL path. These logs are used for server monitoring and deleted after 30 days. Penguin Slide uses no external fonts — it falls back to the system font stack — so no CDN requests are made. No analytics scripts, advertising networks, session recorders, or fingerprinting tools run in this game. The only outbound requests are the ones you can count: one, to load the game page.

Children, Rights, and Policy Updates

Penguin Slide is a game for everyone. No age gate. No parental consent requirement. No data collection from any player of any age. If we ever add a feature that involves data, we will document it here before enabling it — not after.

Players in jurisdictions with formal privacy rights — including GDPR, CCPA, LGPD, and similar legislation — may request information about data we hold.
